Just sold my E92 325, and looking for a more practical and cheaper to run 118d MSport. I test drove one on Monday, and was surprised at how well it pulled, it was an automatic too, and the handling was very similar to my 3. Love it.

Anyway, are there any common issues with the 118d ? Thoughts on whether it worth upping it up to a 120 or 123. I'll probably just drive to work in it..A and B roads, and town driving mainly. How much more fuel does the 120,123 use...books say marginal...but then again my 325 brochure said it could do 28-9MPG, in reality 21 MPG on a very light foot.

Any recommendations and real life fuel consumption figures will be gratefully received Can't wait to be a 1 owner....just need to get one at the right price
