What's the difference with BMW Perf calipers over standard 6 pots?

They look identical except the paint job and stenciling. Are the Performance calipers just lighter?

Nope we're not kidding...the only difference between the perf calipers and the 135 ones is just the paint color.

If you're considering them it's cheaper to find a used set of 135 calipers, rebuild them with upgraded components like new pistons/seals...and get the powder coated whatever color you want.

The 135i I'm looking at buying already has them on there (but no Performance rotors). Sounds like I'm basically getting painted calipers then...

Do they even have a different part number so I can verify they're actual Performance rotors instead of a well done paint and stencil job?

Oh well, at least they look slick.

They possibly have a different part number b/c of the color, but I'm not positive. Contact Dan @ unitedbmw. He'll be able to tell you for sure. Don't get me wrong the color is awesome. Can't go wrong either way
