Needing help to diagnose

Hey gents,

Was on the way to the shops on the weekend and noticed my car was feeling slightly a little gutless, took off and the car shuddered a little and seem to not pull power, after that I went to turn a corner and accelerate and it happened again but this time the yellow engine symbol came on.
Pulled over and turn the car off, waited a minute then turn the car back on and the light disappeared.

Thank God for having my tablet and running MHD I managed to pull the error codes.

the first code is the misfirings which Im guessing its the coil packs or spark plugs?

the second I have no idea

Any ideas or help would be great

Cheers

clear the codes and see what comes back

Swap coil packs between cylinder 1 and 5 and see if the code moves

How old are the spark plugs ?

Hey mate

I cleared the codes that night and it came up with no DME active codes.
Even the readiness came up as misfire complete.

The car still does feel a bit gutless but maybe its just me being paranoid

get some injector cleaner to start things off

Sounds like you have a bad batch of fuel

Put 7 litres of e85 into a full tank of bp ultimate when you fill up
and 5 litres every time you fill up after that

Our cars are very picky to what fuel you run

the e85 will bump your octane up to about 100 and the car will
stop pulling timing

if you learn how to do logs, you will see this immediately when
you do a before and after
