Joining the Club
Just a big shout out to Justin (JD75) from my first phone call to him in March this year to my last phone call to him 20mins ago. In this time my car pretty much became (A fukin bullet!) Justins & Advans! Unfortunalty my car was riddled with a few electrical issues, high kms and various workshops in melb “trying to get it right” (Without MODS) A few months have gone by as well as easily 15,000 phone calls and messages and my car is back home, dialed in a purring just the way Justin likes it hahaha. For anyone out there doing their own maintenance to a full build, do yourself a favor and get in touch with Justin. I don’t think there’s much about our platform that he doesn’t know about. Whether or not your buying parts, just his extensive knowledge and ongoing support is really second to none!! I should also mention that if your struggling to deal with Americans while ordering your parts... (that they all have in stock until you pay, and then receive an email advising back order for 2 weeks + shipping time to your door… Fuk that) Next day delivery is what you want, Ample stock of practically anything and everything, not to mention the one off custom gear that no one else has! Otherwise, from that impatient cunt in melb.... lol Justin, Advan and Trebila thanks for the entry to the club, The 400+ Club!! |

Hey guys,
here are a few pics of a N54 forged piston and connecting rod set from Pure Performance Motorsport. These particular pistons have a compression ratio of 9.5:1, they are custom made in Germany from 4032 grade aluminium alloy and use Japanese made chromoly steel rings. The billet steel 4340 H-beam mirror polished rods are rated at 300+ hp per cylinder and feature high-tensile ARP L-19 rod bolts. The rods can also be purchased in standard unpolished trim with ARP 2000 bolts. These little babies will support 550+rwkW when installed in a properly prepped short block, with the long engine subsequently assembled by a professional. Cheers, Justin. |

Hey guys,
Would just like to share my experience using the services of the team at advan performance and knowledge and expertise of Justin (JD75) Car: 2009 BMW 135i N54 I got in touch with Justin after speaking to the guys at advan and bmr autowerkes to find out some information about upgrading turbos. After getting in contact with Justin and speaking with him after a few conversations of figuring out a rough budget and what I wanted out of the car and the type use it was going to get we decided on the following parts to make a ridiculously quick street sleeper! Hexon RR700's TFT intake/turbo inlet system with RHD adaptation kit Compressor discharge pipe Wagner Evo 2 Competition intercooler Port injection and stage 3 fuel it pump Intake blast JB4 connect kit All this equated to 405rwkw which is absolutely crazy in my mind! It took a bit of fine tuning to get the car to have a nice smooth linear power delivery all the way through the rev range. The only way to get this 110% right was to do some road tuning with the aid of the JB4 Bluetooth rev connect kit (best thing I've ever bought for the car - highly recommend). After countless 3rd gear pulls (2000rpm - 6500) and a few flash revisions the car is now running amazingly smooth and no one suspects the car to have the power it has especially when I blow the doors off them!! So in summary I would like to thank the boys at advan performance for doing all the work on my car but a special thanks must go out to Justin for all the countless extra hours (late nights) that he spent looking at the midnight data log runs that I was doing then sending me adjustments to make to the AFR and duty bias setttings from within the app then running more logs. His knowledge and work ethic is outstanding I don't know any other tuner that is able to supply parts that quickly and is willing to go that extra mile in order to make sure that the car is running no less than perfect 👌 If you are considering anything when it comes to tuning or upgrading parts on your N54 do yourself a favour and get in touch with Justin (JD75) and the boys at Advan! Thanks for taking the time to read this guys and hope this helps and gets more of you out there running some big numbers! |

Some nice shots of my pistons and rods there.
Hopefully Santa delivers the next round of parts Justin has arranged from Motiv and VAC for me. The cool thing is Justin is putting his hard earned on the table to develop lots of nice yummy performance things for those wanting the next best thing for their N54s and N55s. RHD Motiv single turbo is a good example along with RHD TFT for the twinners.

Hey guys,
a little fun was had with a FBO 2010 DCT N55 running on a Stage 2 turbo from Pure Turbos. This vehicle is running a complete fuel system upgrade consisting of a Fuel-It PI system, a Stage 3 LPFP and Ethanol sensor/analyser kit. The car is running happily on straight United E85 (E79 reported) via a JB4 and MHD loaded BMS back-end-flash. There is more airflow left in the PS2 but we are playing it safe for now to prevent clutch pack slippage on the stock DCT box, but I have a solution for that as well as a fix for an intermittent misfire that occurs above 330-340rwkW. I'm hoping to see around 365-370rwkW when the transmission upgrade is complete. Cheers, JD. |

Just wanted to personally vouch for Justin. Who has and is continuing to help me build my N54. I can't speak highly enough for how available he has been, and provided much of his extensive knowledge of the platform as well as hooking me up parts. In my time dealing with Justin he has stood by his products and offered brilliant customer service both pre and post sale.
Anybody thinking about mods or just looking for parts in general should most definitely contact him |
