Rear Seat Delete Questions

Long story short, fucked up my back seat (needs a real good clean), currently considering/attempting a rear seats delete. When removing the folding seats how the hell do people manage to get the bottom bolt/screw on the hinge?

I think mine may be starting to strip and if so ill either give yup or drill it out:

Are they not breaking loose? I pulled seat bottom first, Torx key with a closed wrench on the end for some leverage to start IIRC. Centers were tough outside was easier. Pull the padded side pieces for more room there. Believe those were just held by a guide and plastic clips, I popped them out and back in when done.

I did not consider an allen key version fuck. I tried using a ratchet, and it didn't fit well. It stripped before i could break it loose. I got the top one out completely but bottom wouldn't budge.

I've had some luck in the past with these stripped heads, try to fit a slightly larger or smaller hex. Usually you can tap them in a bit and apply torque still. Drilling seems kinda tough in this spot.

Unfortunately i gave up and tried drilling, didn't really have much luck with that either. I guess if i ever fully commit to full race car ill just cut the hinge
