Tire Fitment Question
Hello all,
I will soon be getting rid of the OE RFT's on my 2011 135i (Sport Package) and after reading a lot of posts here I believe the following tire size setup will work but I want to triple check that I won't have any issues on a stock car in regards to rubbing, etc. I don't want to get anything that would require a fender roll or cause rubbing. 225/40ZR18 XL Michelin Pilot Super Sport Blackwall for 2011 BMW 135i Coupe Sport Package Built On or After 9/10 255/35ZR18 XL Michelin Pilot Super Sport Blackwall for 2011 BMW 135i Coupe Sport Package Built On or After 9/10 TireRack popped up with a note saying that this will require fender lip and liner modification to avoid running, hence my question. I haven't decided on a set of wheels yet, but am looking to maintain the staggered setup (7.5 x 8.5). I am currently leaning towards the Breyton GTS-R (Black Painted Finish). Would that setup be good to go? Thank you Last edited by Snap0rz; 04-08-2012 at 02:45 PM.. |

I ordered the conticonform kit and exactly the same set of tires for the stock 264 wheels, but have not put them on yet. Swapping only the rears for now as the fronts have plenty left on them. Will let you know in a week of the massive understeer increase with my different type of tires front/back |
