The front ones are a cinch as long as you know the trick of getting at them. Took me a while to figure it out as most info is for E9X and it's NOT the same...

Turns out that ECS do a fantastic step by step instruction guide.

Relevant info is on P6 of the attached PDF.

PrecisionLED has a how-to video i think somewhere as well.
Thanks Pete, found the PrecisionLED how to video and thanks for the PDF Angus.

PDF shows removing the whole console though compared to just the clear plastic in the video, which did you guys do?

Sorry about all these questions in your thread Angus.

Dunno. Never hear the HKS BOV before. It was available from one of the other Brisbane guys and he offered it to me to try...

I am a little concerned about it being a bit too ricey but the fact that I can try before I buy means I may as well give it a go...

Never know... Might sound awesome coupled with the aFe Intake...

I think some people have done the GFB one DIY? Gotten the bungs welded onto suit etc

Not ideal, yeah, i agree

Oh i do remember something about a switchable plumb back> atmo one specifically made for the n54 though ?

Ed:

*Turbosmart Kompact Dual Port Blow Off Valve BMW N54 (135i/335i/535i/Z4)

Pretty damn expensive though.

Yeah.. They aint cheap and I'd need a new CP to use them anyway... I know Ian has Turbosmart DVs but don't know if it's those ones...

I have a set of Forge DVs but no CP to go with...

I know that the HKS is considered to be the loudest of the bunch but the fact that there are different vents you can get for it to change the sound is promising...

Also, as mentioned above, if it is too loud or I don't like the sound then I can get the plumb-back adapter for $30 and that should tone it down a heap...
