Steering wheel angle sensor?
Hey guys, I've been running into this issue the last couple times I've done donuts. After finishing the donut, the brake light and DSC lights come on in amber. DSC remains turned off. I'm assuming it's the steering wheel angle sensor needing to be recalibrated. That's fixed it both times but I'm just wondering why it's coming in the first place. It didn't happen any of the other times I've played around with the diff

When I ran my car up to speed on jackstands to find a noise (3 months later determined it was a wheel bearing) the same thing happened. I got ABS and DSC lights, and the car wasn't happy. I reset the codes in Carly, and all was well again. I think the car may be thinking that you have a bad wheel speed sensor due to a consistent difference in readings front to rear when "playing around with the diff" That wouldn't explain why recalibrating the steering angle sensor fixes it, though...
