Welt blows my mind.
You know the company is focused on design with a production HQ like that.

I'm *so* glad I got a pair of window seats for the flight over and back. (I believe the seating if 2-4-2). I've heard good things about Lufthansa as well. On a plane in 5 weeks. This is going to be fun.

You are my hero! You must post more pics of the Nurburgring! Of course, I'll be driving it soon in a 135i in Gran Turismo 5.

More pics to come, no energy left tonight to upload them so I will likely give an updated trip report tomorrow from Frankfurt.

To answer a previous question, I'm using a casio pocket cam w/ video and my trusty D70 w/ a 10-20 sigma wideangle zoom (15-30mm 35mm eq.).

Have a good night's rest. I want to see those pics and see what I have missed out from not doing ED.

OK finally got all the pictures uploaded. Here is the google images link (bandwidth warning - don't open on an old computer / slow connection!):

http://picasaweb.google.com/johnmmyers/Europe

I am still working on the video. We took pictures with two different cameras, and the times were off, so they aren't all in order. Review to come, sorry for the delay but it took forever to upload/sort/caption them as I didn't do it during the trip. Our itinerary was Munich->Frankfurt & the ring -> Strabourg, France -> Zurich (drop off car) -> Barcelona -> London -> fly back to denver

Quick review:
I totally underestimated the jet lag factor - I was a zombie during the delivery process. I will definitely be doing this again for the next bimmer though so now I know what to expect. Nurburgring was awesome, def. be back there also (when it isn't raining). London was insanely expensive.

The image was taken on the autobahn...
