Any experience with supersprint exhaust?

I am currently interested in buying an exhaust system for my 2010 128i and was wondering if anyone has anymore information on the supersprint exhaust...like fitment, sound, quality, etc. Just trying to look at other options other than the bmw performance exhaust and magnaflow..

Youtube has 130i videos of just the rear section.

I would get rid of the resonator, SuperSprint sells a piece to do that

Took a look at some YouTube videos and...wow! Sounds amazing! I am currently under warranty on the car and if I do install the supersprint will I run into any problems with the dealership or warranty?? Also what can I expect to pay for a supersprint exhaust and resonator delete? Only place I've seen them for sale was on the supersprint website and it wasn't in U.S?

Amusing to be referenced in a thread.

SuperSprint NA isn't SuperSprint Europe, they are a distributor for SS EU. Aftermarket exhaust components will void the exhaust section of your factory warranty.

Headers make the majority of the gain(20hp) and run ~$1600.

SuperSprint is hands down the best exhaust company in the world. Better fitment/quality than stock, biggest real gains, and amazing sound.

He's correct

We are a distributor for Supersprint, but are acting as an official authorized distributor with a dedicated team solely working on Supersprint.

Anything you need to know I can help with as well as being exceptionally competitive with pricing

I'm from the factory in Italy, but I'm here just as a tech consultant, not a seller. For that refer to Evolve which is one of our appointed distributor.

How much should I expect to pay for a full Super Sprint exhaust system?
I worked it out to be over $6000 is this right?

They actually had a recent price adjustment on all the components.

Depending on configuration, $3488 to $5327 for a header to tip system. I'm currently running headers and muffler.

Thanks, that sounds reasonable but after posting I heard the price was $8800AU here.
I got a feeling it is still gonna be over $5k in Australia thanks to mark up and import duties, I dont want to spend over 5kAU.

I heard these exhausts are popular with Ferrari and Lamborghini. I have been taking more notice of exhaust sounds today and a Gallardo happened to floor it past me and it was rattling/vibrating like a cheap exhaust!

Ouch yeah. It's pretty rough being an Aus car enthusiast these days with the import fees and the state of the domestic industry.

People will just import chevys and fords. They have already been putting Chevy badges on Holdens for a while now.

The price is not the biggest problem here, there used to be a big mod/rice scene in Sydney with people always driving around on weekends but police cracked down on it and its just disappeared now, for the 1st 3 years of your license you cant drive a car faster than around 0-100 6.6seconds and you cant drive a V8 or turbo(but they are lifting the turbo restriction now).

Everything is more expensive here but I am told we get payed more than you guys in the US so

Yeah sorry, as screwed up as the US gov is currently, I don't think I would trade it for the Aus version.

Here police dont need a warrant to search your car. And anyone can call cops to someones house and say they have a gun or whatever and the cops can search that persons house without a warrant (I have both seen this happen and pass in court, and had it confirmed by a law student).

Its actually really easy to mess with cops here, whenever they get a call for something excessive amounts of them rock up.
I once had someone aproach my car and circle around it pretending they had a concealed gun and trying to intimidate me at a service station, I seriously thought I was gonna get jacked.
Just to inconvenience the guy and give the cops something to do, after I left I call them anonymously(they had my number but I was not obliged to follow up with them), I drive past later on to see what happened and about 6 cop cars had rocked up trying to find a gun on the premises for ages.

Can you tell us more about the headers, are they equal length, why aren't they stepped and does SS plan any more revisions?
