I ordered it through Tischer, but most all 1M parts are sent directly from Germany as few stock it state side. Takes weeks to get it.

Those are 9.5 et 50 with 265 wheels in the back, so it gives you an idea of how much bigger you can go in the back.
I'll be doing 9.5 et 25 with 275 in the back shortly.

I'm running 9.5 et 20 with 265 in the front with no rubbing issues.

What did you do with the inside of the rear fender? Any fender liner? Did you have to welding inside? Thanks

On Ebay, the seller's name is Tainik. He sells used wheels which he wraps any way you want using authentic napa or Montana leather and alcantara. The quality of the wrap is outstanding and it's only $395 for what is essentially a brand new DCT M Wheel

Cut down the middle. Separate the section of wheel well from the fender that you cut off. Attach with 3m panel bond to the new fender, then splice in a 3" piece of sheet metal to fill the gap. Cover with undercoating.

Thanks so much. I had been wanting to do the Ind custom wheel for a long time. Could never justify paying close to $1k for it tho.

a stock m3 wheel with DCT is 595 already, so 1K makes sense. This guy is re-manufacturing used wheels so the price is way more reasonable and the end product you cant distinguish from new.

I want to see if he can do the instrument cluster dome in alcantara with tri-color stitching.

OK, couple of set backs that have kept me from posting up. First, the mirrors, looks like I got the 5 pin non Lin-Bus version when I needed the 3 pin.

I was willing to compromise on auto fold and dip, but it's not an option if you have those features stock. Funny, the mirror assembly is not much more expensive, but the mirrors alone are north of $600 alone.

The company I bought it from took them back, and now I need to re-think if the mirror mod is worth it.

Next the wheels. Some have seen this already but let me say it again for anyone doing the conversion, the rear axle is wider on the 135i then it is on the 1m or m3 by about 10 mm per side.

I had picked up a beautiful set of 18" BC mono-forged wheels, 9.5 et 20 10.5 et 25. The front work perfect with 265 but the rear sticks out just too much. 10.5 will easily fit as will 285 + width, but the offsets will have to be in the et 35 to 40 range.

So it looks like I'm going to have to sell these
