Any mention of a reach around?

Those are nice when you're being violated.

I was going on the idea that you add 100 to the last three digits of the VIN to arrive at the production number. However, I may have misread that idea in the Registry thread. That, or, this theory has been debunked and I'm late to the party

It's a free country, I do believe he has Best Offer so someone should make an offer if they're in the market.

He is right about the Z8s selling for $150K, and he's right, there were about 6000 Z8s made. 2700 1Ms

And Z8 is not even an M car.

Don't be shocked if these 1Ms sell for 50k to 60K in 10 years

I've been watching a show on TV called "Dumbest Things on Wheels".
Very few things shock me anymore when it comes to human stupidity.

Dealers have a hard time selling at $5K over MSRP.
Sure it's a free country, but just asking $20k over is off putting, if not an insult to people with common sense.
He's clearly fishing for those with more money than sense.

I'll leave the debate as to whether this is a "free" country to some other forum but we certainly have the freedom to laugh and make fun of someone trying to profit so much from a car. If someone wants to pay a 30K premium then that's up to them but most would think that's absurd! It's barely even a real M car!

Of the bunch, the one in post #13 seems to be legit, if you dig what he did to the car...

Agreed; I feel like it's more likely that someone will get "market value", whatever that is, with fewer cosmetic mods. Performance mods probably don't detract, but it seems like the more individual a car looks, the less $ it will command...or at least the seller will have a much harder time locating a buyer.

I'm sure you're aware that dealerships are asking $5K over (on a brand new car) and it's taking some time for them to sell.
What make his used car worth $30K over?
You sound like you would pay him if you didn't have one.
He could buy your clean E30 M3 with the profit alone. You tell me if it's foolish or not.

First of all, ALL new cars will be sold by a month from now. Secondly, all these ads have best offers listed on them, if someone has an offer, the buyer can accept it. He does have the best color for sale too.

Some reach dude with millions can just buy the car for the hell of it and sell it a month later, who knows what can happen.

There are people like this in the world:
