Windows opened spontaneously?
I've had my 1M for two weeks-best car I've driven.
A wierd, one time thing occurred the other day, and I RTFM and still couldn't figure out why. After washing it and with the keys in my jeans ( I think) and kneeling down to take some pictures, both windows opened and went all the way down. I suspect I was putting pressure on the key in my pocket that somehow caused this, but I am not sure. Any ideas? Thanks! |

If you hold down the unlock button on you key fob the windows will roll down. BMW's have had it as long as I can remember...

Yep, this happened to me once when I was living in Jersey. Left my 328i with windows wide open all night long on a Saturday. It was parked across the street from my apartment in front of a pizza shop. Plenty CDs and some cash for the taking. Walked out the next morning and absolutely nothing was amiss. Come to think of it, nobody ever messed with that pizza guy...
