Solution to orange reflectors !
So I believe I have found the best solution to date to eliminate the hideous orange reflectors....
and the answer is OSS. Not sure who on here has or has not heard of them but if you guys do a search on m3post you will find a few cars that they have done. What exactly do they do? - They open up your headlight and do basically what you ask of them. They can customize it many different ways from my understanding. I have been speaking to Luis from OSS and actually just sent him over an email asking if there is possibilities of a group buy. Hopefully he can pull through with that and if some of you are interested in this we can get the ball rolling very soon. Oh and on top of this they do angel eyes (LEDs) but better than ANY angel eyes i have seen.. yes even HIDs. they are perfectly even. One of my concerns which was addressed in the last email i sent him was what could he do with the light strip we have on top.. So I am waiting to hear back from him, but in the mean time shoot me a PM or post on here if you are interested in getting in on this!! Cheers, Chris |

Is this the same place where it's a 2 week turn around, and you're without headlights the whole time? If so, I've heard really good things about them, but that can be a problem for people with this car as a DD.
Maybe we should have a side-by-side group-buy for replacement headlights of a cheaper, but passable variety? Just trying to think of a good way all of us could take advantage of this. |

I'm interested in just the title description (removal of the orange reflectors), how much would that be in group buy/individual? |

Hey guys,
So I heard back from Luis. As of right now there will be no group buy pricing. I am again waiting to hear back from him after having asked him if there will be any issues due to the adaptive headlights our cars have. If there isn't I will most likely be doing this within the next few weeks. Once done I will post up a full review with pictures. I will keep you guys posted! Cheers, Chris |

Example of the oss 1series headlights :
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ght=oss+design likely won't be cheap though, and yes there is down time as you need to send in your headlights to be modified.

Doesn't BavarianX already do this with their Depo LS1/LS3 lights?

FYI to open the E82 headlights they must be cut not baked in an oven... NO THANKS.
If i were to do it Id have AutoCouture do mine as they are local and no need to worry about warranty because they will cover them, but I know when cutting is involved they dont like to do it because it wont be as solid as a factory seal. BTW those look like PRE-LCI lamps LCIs have the eyebrow |
