OEM red start button replacement
Has anyone replaced their original start/stop button with a compatible OEM red replacement button?
Any feedback or tips? Part Number please? |

Don't do all that. The switch can come off the cable before it comes out of the dash and if that happens, you are pulling the dash to reattach.
Do this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=...;v=j5VZ-7wztMs I didn't have tape sticky enough. So, I Superglued the flat of a long screw to the button, let it dry, and with a quick tug, it came right out. Don't lose the little plungers though.

Glad it worked for you. We almost lost a plunger too...if the car's interior were white it would have been a different story.
