OEM red start button replacement

Has anyone replaced their original start/stop button with a compatible OEM red replacement button?

Any feedback or tips?

Part Number please?

Don't do all that. The switch can come off the cable before it comes out of the dash and if that happens, you are pulling the dash to reattach.

Do this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=...;v=j5VZ-7wztMs

I didn't have tape sticky enough. So, I Superglued the flat of a long screw to the button, let it dry, and with a quick tug, it came right out. Don't lose the little plungers though.

Thanks, no issues swapping in the new red button. 3M double sided tape ftw. Looks great. One of the little plungers was almost lost, but I managed to save it from falling into the abyss
nice little mod

Glad it worked for you. We almost lost a plunger too...if the car's interior were white it would have been a different story.
