STETT Performance 135i/335i BOV or Dual DV Charge Pipe GB -- Will NOT Blow Off !!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

**NEW** Includes Meth Bungs!

It's official, our next generation BOV and dual DV charge pipes are here! We have taken the already popular first gen charge pipe and added dual stainless meth bungs. They come pre-tapped 1/8-27 NPT with stainless plugs. Whenever you are ready to add Meth you simply remove one or both of the plugs, install your nozzle(s) and VOILA!

For those of you not yet familiar with our charge pipes, you maybe familiar with the horror stories of people blowing their stock or aftermarket charge pipes off while under boost, hello limp mode, hello check engine light and goodbye to the guy next to you who just ate your lunch because because your BMW just blew it's charge pipe off. Here's a little information everyone should read.

*PROBLEM: The factory charge pipe has a 3mm flimsy oring that seals it off to the throttle body... YES, a little o-ring. The pipe relies on a weak metal push lock clip that slides down into a groove on the throttle body and locks the pipe into place. This, like the weak factory diverter valves, will only seal for so long until you start getting oil leaking out around the connection and eventually POP, boost pressure overcomes the lock clip and your charge pipe flies off ripping the TMAP sensor apart. Guess what? If oil (heavier than air) is finding it's way past the oring then where do you think boost is going? Go out to your car and look down where your charge pipe connects to the throttle body.. do you see the oil residue? If not, you will. If your pipe hasn't come off, it will. Some aftermarket pipe manufacturers use this same style flimsy oring and weak clip design, so how is this improvement over stock? Well then, let's just grab a silicone hose and stick a pipe on there and we solve that problem. WRONG. The problem with this is that there is nothing for the hose and clamp to grab onto. Eventually... POP, the pipe comes off.

Back in early 2007 we identified this major design flaw and immediately came up with a solution that eliminates the charge pipe blowing off issue and also provides over 4 times sealing capacity than that of the oring style setup. OUR CHARGE PIPES WILL NOT BLOW OFF. We offer the charge pipe with either 50mm Tial BOV or dual Forge Diverter valves. We do NOT use the Forge OEM replacement valves because the factory push lock connections are not ideal for use with a hose. We use a better suited version of the Forge DV.

- All charge pipes are made from 304 stainless steel (aluminum is soft and will crush under heavy pressure from t-bolt clamps)
- All pipes utilize our patented throttle body connector, ours WON'T blow off
- Our throttle body connector provides over 4X the sealing capacity over the stock/aftermarket oring style design
- *NEW* Dual stainless steel Meth ports (come with stainless plugs)
- Available options:
--BOV charge pipe with Tial BOV
--BOV charge pipe with Tial BOV flange (NO BOV)
--Dual DV charge pipe with dual Forge diverter valves
--Dual DV charge pipe (NO DIVERTER VALVES)
- Black powder coat finish for a sleek look and added durability
- Stainless TMAP sensor bolts
- Heavy duty 4 layer silicone hoses
- Heavy duty T-bolt clamps
- Pressure tested to 30+psi --WILL NOT BLOW OFF

We manufacture our products using only the best quality materials. Each pipe assembly is hand made in house. We only use high quality BOV's and DV's from the two best names in the industry, Tial and Forge Motorsports.

So the BOV charge pipe (no BOV) wouldn't work with the synapse BOV right?

STETT Won't provide an adapter, but you can get it online from a few Synapse Engineering dealers. I've seen the Synapse BOV for as little as $203 and the Tial adapter is around $28. This is what I'm going to do. I want to be able to vent or recirculate. I have high hopes for the STETT charge pipe and the Synapse BOV.

Here is the BOV

http://www.dezod.com/pd-synapse-engi...-universal.cfm

Here is the adapter

Only problem for me is I can't find a Synapse dealer that sells the adapter aswell, to ship to my APO.

Tempting..... got a pic with the DVs?

I also like the CAI, but I'm concern about hydro lock. Is it possible to put a valve in place of that flex hose? What diameter is that pipe? Maybe include the valve in your kit?

BOV's release the air into the atmosphere hence the wooosh sound and DV's recirculate the air into the intake like the stock DV's but they will handle more boost.

A valve is not needed. Getting a little moisture into your engine is normal and doesn't hurt (think of water/meth mix). If you submerge your car in standing water high enough to put the CAI filter under water, soak the filter and then fill your engine with water.. then you have far greater problems than a wet air filter We have had our 335i CAI's on the market since early 2007 and never heard one issue of water problems.
