Thumbs up iCARBON- BACK ON TRACK!

As most of you know we were having some problems with our internal communication. This lead to horrible lead times and order delays. Even though it caused some turmoil, our focus was always to get back on track. To grow the company to a place where we could deliver the service our customers are looking for. A service on par with our pieces.

We make no excuses for the issues that happened. Demand grew exponentially and we were forced to step up to the plate. With great patience from most of our customers, we've been able to reach the next level.

We have finally gotten 99% of things in order. We are happy to announce that we are having a new production run to celebrate this accomplishment due in October. It was a lot of work with a lot of new team members. (there will be no group buy for this)

To celebrate this change, we have also changed our website. It's simple and meant for you to enjoy easily.

Thank you to all those who had the tremendous patience to see us through. To those who didn't, we hope we get a second chance so you can enjoy the quality of our pieces.

Now, with the best ahead of us, we are excited for all the changes. Here's what's new:
  • New management
  • Higher grade of quality assurance on pieces
  • New website with easy navigation and sleek design.
  • Full distribution network with some of the most reputable aftermarket distributors, to ensure the best service.
  • Full team of customer service specialist for email and phone assistance.
  • M3 lip on its way
  • 1M lip on its way
  • CSL style trunk lip spoiler on its way
  • much more.

Additionally, our distribution network has grown. Starting September you will never have to face with having iCarbon pieces out of stock again. And you may purchase them from any of our excellent distributors:

dtmrack.com
**********s.com
hpautowerks.com
hpfreaks.com
unitedbmwonline.com
vividracing.com

As far as right now is concerned. We are running at full steam in production. We won't be selling any pieces until the production is done.

What we do have is a new 'production availability notification system' which is just a fancy way of saying that if you're interested in a piece, all you have to do is:

[*]Send an email to sales@icarbondesign.com with the word 'NOTIFICATION' in the subject line.

[*]Inform us in the email the piece or pieces that you're waiting for.

[*]As soon as the pieces become available, you will be notified by email and contacted by one of our distributors.

If any of you has any questions, you are free and welcome to contact us by phone or writing us an email. Using the PM system to contact us is discouraged if you're looking for a quick response.

We look forward to a great future providing the best designs, with the best quality for your oners in carbon fiber.

Best Regards,

iCarbon

Welcome back... I'm skeptical but I've always said that the m-hood from you guys was my best mod. Seems that you guys have identified your major flaws with both customer service and production delays. I'm excited and CHEERS to an improved iCarbon...

I'm skeptical after being burnt in the past again and again. Hopefully you have got your act together this time. At least you are coming forward and acknowledging your poor customer service, lack of communication and constant reoccurring delays. I'm willing to give you guys another chance if the parts are being on sold at a fair price by your distributers.

Email sent for parts request.

Yes I've seen that Scorpione thread. Seems like a decent product and it's roughly half the price of iCarbon products which were already competitively priced. Basically a bargain.

Agreed, more competition is good. I think iCarbon will be back in full swing within a few months, or so I hear. I heard Scorpione might be coming out with some new parts before then too though, maybe a front lip?

I agree that it's good there is some competition now. But I don't think iCarbon is overpriced at all. It's authentic carbon fiber with original designing involved. The only company I can think of that does that too is 3d and their hood is $6500.00, say what you want with all the crap they put their customers through before, but overpriced doesn't fit the bill.

I'm guessing if its a CSL style spoiler it means it will be like a CSL style spoiler and not their original one. In other words, it will make the trunk look like its a CSL trunk

Yeah I saw it too. Their prices are ridiculously low. For me it comes down to two things. First is the quality. If the quality is there for the price then that's awesome. Second thing is originality. And for now that's where Scopione has lost me. They seem to be a replica company. It takes creativity to come up with these pieces, as a person that works in the business of intangible goods and talent, that means a lot to me. Replicating doesn't cost a thing, which is why replicas are always cheaper to buy. But for me, buying replica goes against everything that has given me my life so far.

If iCarbon has truly turned a new leaf, I am excited to see what's coming. Once again, especially for the 1M.

Agreed. For me if the quality is just as good, or at least on par then I'll buy whatever is better value. Customer service and whether the item is in stock also come into play.

Anyways, I like the iCarbon products although I haven't had a lot of success in getting all the parts I want in the past (hopefully that changes within a few months) however most of their parts are replicas of what is already out there. For eg - the iCarbon spoiler is the same design as the Performance Spoiler. Also the iCarbon diffuser is virtually the same as the Performance diffuser with the addition of an extra fin. The mirrors are the same as the Performance mirrors. The iCarbon hood is exactly the same as the M3 hood, they even call it the M3 hood.

I'm not complaining here, at the end of the day I just want good looking parts at a reasonable price. My feeling is that iCarbon's prices will no longer be as competitive as they used to be because there will be no more group buys or the opportunity to buy directly. The price between the group buy and the vendors on selling the parts is quite significant so I'll keep all my options open. So if the Scorpione parts come out soon enough and they are priced right I will have to consider them. As far as the weave finish goes, so far everyone is very happy with them.

Btw, I see you have Starck Performance parts in your signature - specifically the Starck Perfromance Hood. Are they in any way affiliated with iCarbon, as in the same parts but re-labelled as Starck Perfromance? I had to ask..

You are back on track? great.

One of your distributors sent me a diffuser which frankly has major issues. After dealing with them i was not interested in shipping it back and waiting (hoping) to get refunded + communications with them sucked.

I had read over and over about the "quality" of your product, yet this piece is far from quality. I have the "photos" to make my point.

While I love your front lip and m3 hood design I am completely against spending that kind of $$ if the quality is the same.

Are you willing to step up to the plate and prove to me you produce quality products?

I'm not some yahoo who holds vendors to unrealistic expectations, and as you can see from my sig I've had a fair bit of experience and have spent thousands of $$ on aftermarket parts.

If you are interested in helping me out then PM me. Handled right you may make a believer out of me yet.
