Yep, it's a great car .Handling just as good the e46 if not better,
Your comment on horsepower, really funny. 0 to 60 can be over a minute with the volvo at 80,000 pounds gross weight, so the e90 is always a welcome change, and not as menacing.

Funny you made mention of Mc donald's,if you look closely at 3rd picture down there's a Mc Donald's restaurant reflecting on the truck.

Hi Quincy, nice photos!

I gotta ask, during the summer do you collect bugs on the windshield of your Volvo 630? I always wondered that about the big rigs.

And 13 forward gears? That's craziness.

Thanks, yes and you can order one with an 18 forward gears and 2 reverse gears manual, also ZF merittor supply an 12 speed automatic transmission besides 10 speeds etc.. for heavy trucks,I went with eaton road ranger, next time will order a truck with the 12 speed auto from
ZF freedom line tranny and them bugs stick on the windshield like super glue, that's one thing i hate about summer driving.

Quincy, when I wasa kid I wanted to be a trucker (mid 70s), and I even had a CB radio and all that. To what degree has the internet and cell phones replaced the CB...or is it as vigorous as ever on the road still?

That's cool about the transmission. Didn't know that automatic was even an option.

How many miles do you have on the truck? And how long do trucks typically go before needing replacing?

(as much as i love bimmers, this truck is just so fascinating)

I always wondered how many gears a truck like that must have. I've always noticed that when pulling away from a stop, it seemed like tractor trailers would shift 5 times by the time they crossed the intersection.

I knew it took a lot of power to move one of those trucks, but I was surprised there is such a disparity between the hp and torque.
