Is this a window regulator?

I ordered a window regulator from Tischer BMW last week and I received it today. On my parts invoice it's described as something else. Anyway, heres the pic:

Yes! That is a window regulator. Be sure to do a search on how to replace it. There is one torx screw(with an allen hex on the other side) that is left hand threads and it is VERY difficult to remove.

I would not do that job either. Its a real PITA I think. I remember there was a guy here recently who said the dealer got the window height/adjustment wrong and they broke the window after they just had repaired it. They paid for the broken window. Its better you let a pro do this job - with our frameless windows.

Parts department at the dealership wanted 280 and I paid 130 shipped from Tischer. They gave me a loaner and they let me keep the loaner until I received the part. So, I've had a loaner since last Wednesday and the part should be coming in tonight. I can justify giving them a great rating now for once
