135i Fuel Consumption - I think my fuel gauge must be broken!
Uh, fellas, I did like 350km from full and the light came on, have I sold my soul to the fuel devil?

Traveling at Warp 7 over here...(+260 to 290 kph) I have gone as little as 198 kms on 52 liters of fuel. 350 kms is about normal for me. Although it is possible to get closer to 600 kms on one tank. But you have to drive really slow at 80 to 120 kph. I can't do that.

I am averaging 10L/100km, and thats with plenty of spirited driving.
Mind you I also do plenty of highway 105km/h speed camera avoidance driving too. I did strangely find my fuel economy get better when I got a Cobb AP. No one buys a TT and expects awesome fuel economy though! |

Hmm mixed opinions, interesting. We have no real freeways in Adelaide so most driving is stop start which wouldn't help I guess.

At least your tank is quite small, I only get 320km out of my 65L tank in my M3...
Heavy right foot and a blower probably doesn't help :P

That's normal. My consumption is 14.4L/100kms and I get about 400 kms a tank, city driving. The warning light comes on with 75 kms left. You can still drive for about 40 kms after the range shows "0" but you shouldn't risk it!

if you wanna save fuel keep it out of sport mode and shift just under 2000rpm or perhaps even lower, I think you could get away with 1500rpm.
I was on 13.1l/100km before mods. I think an air intake is meant to improve economy. N55 DCT.
