New Key Fob

just replaced a lost second key fob for my 13 i28....it starts the car, opens doors etc... But does not recognize the Sirius radio or previously set seat ...
Any ideas... do I have to program this somehow...

Yup, Radio and seat, as well as other things like turn signal behavior (temporary 3 lights, vs just one for example) are coded by key. I think you can set this all manually and it should stay programmed on the key. Otherwise, I know Carly can do it for example, but I'm sure the more in depth programming solutions can also do it.

I've never had to do it, so not 100% sure, but I think it should automatically save whatever settings you leave it in when you use that particular key.

Carly is an app that is available for programming/coding certain things on the car, as well as reading codes. Another popular option (which I've heard might also be more powerful/have more options) is the ProTools app by Bimmergeeks. Then there's of course the BMW tools that can be used through a computer as well.
