128i S65 Swap

I'm coming back around to doing this. Where did you get your prop shaft from?

Watched a video on a brintech build where they used a E93 dct donor, swapped a manual trans in with new flywheel PP/clutch then deleted the folding top harness. Might be the more affordable/rational way to go since manual E92 are getting hard to come by, and i really don't want to chop up a good enthusiast car.

I am running the Seems Legit prop shaft.

Interesting. That's solid! Awesome that they provide these solutions. I remember talking to them about a prop shaft before I got a CF unit.

How's the NVH? Vs a two piece with guibo?

There’s no NVH, based on the research I did, to help eliminate NVH when running solid rear differential subframe bushings, was to run stock differential bushings.

What was weight difference between the stock prop and this one? I'm assuming this deletes the center support bushing much like CF props.

I did not weight them, but it’s lighter for sure and a one piece.

What does this do to fuel line routing chassis rigidity and underbody airflow?

Fuel lines are routed on the chassis, so really no change there. I don’t think it affects rigidity because the OE is a plastic tray, and really no change to air flow.

Found some F80 seats on FB marketplace for a great deal. They fit very nicely in the 128i and all the functions works as well.

Carbon hood looks great, much needed. The stock hood was rubbing slightly on the engine.
