I have a 2008 128i and i'm looking into coilovers but having a difficult time choosing which brand to go with. I live in Vancouver, BC so we get all four seasons.

I daily the car and I'm not tracking it. Any suggestions? Currently looking at ST X and KW V1. I like the price of the ST X but the stainless steel that KW uses is also attractive since i'll be driving it during winter and I'm afraid of rust.

thank you 🥺

Garage List
I've been very happy with my KW V1s. Wish I had did the subframe bushings at the same time.

KW dampers have been, in my experience, quite complaint for road cars, and usually worth the price premium for people looking to maintain civil ride quality.

KW V1 is great for a street car at the price point.

More important than the number of seasons, is what gets used on the roads when they freeze.
