So I have a pesky 30FF that comes and goes. I was driving really aggressively and pushing the car yesterday when it threw the 30FF.
Anyway I thought it might be something else so while in traffic I was reading the codes the car in front moved up so I moved up and the car made a jolt almost a misfire type feeling and the JB4 became unresponsive. After driving a mile everything return to normal except I had no boost! I pull over and got the code 2ABC and 3100 and two 0000 codes. Upon clearing they never came back. I've been reading seems like this is dirty t map or chargepipe issue. However I did several pulls later and today and it's fine and the CP is tight and everything looks fine. What do you guys think happened? I've had this 30FF for a year now. It's just been occurring more frequently now or when driving uphill at a steep incline it often a more. I need a smoke test done ASAP. However most of the time the car holds a solid 13-15 psi in map 5 so it always confuses me. |

I got them one time, cleared and never saw em' again.
Check the MAP sensor (CP) connection, and make sure the contacts are clean. Have you performed any vacuum related tests recently? I'd recommend checking the vacuum system if you're getting 30FF once in awhile.
