MHD flasher + Jb4 help
Ok I may be beating a dead horse, but needed some help.
So i currently have the jb4 g5 board, to use the mhd flasher to make a custom map, I would need to get a log off of the OBII port connector. The only way to do this from what i've read is to make the jb4 completely passive by "To implement option B: Two JB4 subconnectors must be placed back to stock while the rest of the system remains installed. Put the white and small black subconnectors back to stock and tuck them out of the way. This removes the JB4s ability to maniplulate the wastegates, fuel pressure, and oxygen sensors. If equipped with CPS or SLD wires put these back to stock as well. The JB4 large black and gray connectors need to remain installed. Note that this method can be implemented with a G4 or G5 board. " Now my question is: is there any way to log from the OBII port with the MHD flasher without having to that option B? Thank you Sorry if its a repost Bryan |

OBD logging will still not be possible (whatever the App), the JB4 is never passive. Removing the JB4 is quicker than all the steps above.

Why not log through the JB4 USB connection?
Flashing through the OBD2 port with the JB4 on map 0 (instead of it being completely removed) is still an option, correct? |

Well I was wanting a custom map from Wedge, which requires me to have a log via the ObII port... Ken was saying that jb4 has to be completely passive, even in map 0 it is not passive
