I got to admit I made a rookie mistake when I was flashing yesterday and accidently
pulled the otg cable out while flashing.

My heart sank and I was in panic mode.

But kept calm somewhat, as I suspected my ecu was corrupted and could not retry flashing the
new firmware. Now I'm IN REAL PANIC MODE.

Took a breath and tried reflashing the stock bin

VIOLA it worked

Then I reflashed the new firmware

I'm SOLD on the mhd flasher, by far one of the best investments.

in big bold letters.

Keep it in the glove box.

I can also use it as a gps using the tom tom software

Well I done my second flash revision and things look good

Need some inlets on this thing bad.

These turbos are heavily restricted.

And I still haven't fitted the down pipes yet

But I do have hi flow ones.

Haha, this is one of the biggest issues with the BB flash!

But not an issue at all with the MHD!

Spoke with MHD and suggested to maybe add a warning when flashing
a jb4 backend to put it in map 0

They agreed

It will look like this and should come out when they incorporate it.

Well I got my v3 trebila backend flash and she is hitting 20psi at 6200 rpm and she is not tapering up to this point, have to get her on the dyno to test further.

But she looks very solid.

Jesus, compressor outlet temps would be off the chain at 20psi @ 6200. Shaft speeds too haha.

I never seen stock turbos make 20psi lol, they are nice healthy ones.

They are coming out soon anyway, always wanted to know what power they could make

Find out next week when the boys get back into the workshop.

Its booked for Monday for a dyno run.

Fully charge your battery first and make sure it passes the test.

select the program for the battery type you have

and make sure before you flash you reconnect the charger and its on at least pos 4

just make sure you have everything turned off and jb4 in map 0 and the ignition turned on while doing the flash

do not open anything doors, windows, play with the stereo.

leave the car alone in the process in a garage.

Just shows you how badly abused the humble car battery is.

Make sure you fully charge it the first time and it reaches step 7

Everybody should put their batteries on a battery charger/conditioner like the ctek
every month/over night and their batteries would last a long time.

The workshop charger has a power supply mode, that supply's 30 amps for the car
and you do not have to charge the battery.

That's why the workshop use it as it saves them heaps of time

Its like a external 30 amp 12 volt power bank that does not run out.

Yeah now that i've got it, I see the benefit. Top tip!

Clarification, I don't start the car / put ignition on once it gets to step 4? I just leave it?
