Switch from GIAC to MHD?

Not 3 series but 1M has little activity. Been running a stage 2 giac FBO for couple of years and now thinking of a switch to MHD tune. First a stg2 then maybe a custom. Is there much power left untapped with the giac vs mhd? I know that I have no issues presently and on my many track days, have never had any heat/limp modes.
Anyone know if I can do a full write to get rid of the giac? Or is it locked, havent had a chance to try a write yet. I did however, do a quick log yesterday while the snow wasnt flying...

Going to MHD (custom tune) from GIAC on a 1M is night and day. Seriously, the car is completely different. Much, much more powerful.

To remove the GIAC tune you can return to a GIAC dealer to have your DME reflashed to stock or bring it to the dealer. I don't believe MHD will be able to override the GIAC tune...GIAC locks down the DME.

I should note that I dont want to run any meth and no ethanol fuels available. Limited to mainly 91 octane.

love MHD and my custom tune. Never really saw any power levels put up with a GIAC tune. but I do know I love the custom tune on my car.
