After CP/BOV install, I get a hissing noise when hitting the brakes
I get a low level hiss/air noise whenever I hit the brakes. It doesn't happen all the time. Is this normal?

I don't think there's a correlation between the installation of your CP and your brake noise. You should check your brake pads, they might need replacing.

Agreed, only thing I can think of is the vacuum line running off the intake manifold. Brake booster gets vacuum from that line so maybe double check that this vacuum connection is connected properly.
