E92 335ix OEM M-Trim devaluation?
Had my 2009 335ix rear ended a week ago, and pushed me into the car in front. Short story, getting new bumpers, hood ++ on the insurance.
As many others I started thinking upgrading to the OEM M-Trim set since it shouldn't be a large out of pocket expense to cover the difference. Not expecting a increase in value by doing so, but one of the BMW dealers here stated it would actually devalue the car. I thought that sounded a bit strange. What do you guys think? |

It would not devalue the car. In fact, it shouldn't raise the value of the car other than whatever the difference was in case the buyer would actually want to have that done to the car.
