Hello all,

I tried looking for any list of BMW independent garages in UK, on the forum but couldn't find one. So I hope this post isn't a duplicate.

I saw another thread with dealers but I am looking for an independent garage near Maidstone, Kent. I recently bought a 2008 318i which has done relatively low miles (51k) however the service history is not great so I want to get it serviced and get a few checks performed and get any other issues fixed.

As this is my first BMW I am not sure which garages are good or not - any suggestions please?

There's H&C motors in Rawdon road Maidstone 01622 752364. They did some work on my 335i a while ago, it was done to a high standard & the price was good.
I've known Gary the co owner since the 90's when he worked for Lind BMW, he was the only tech there that I'd let work on my M5.

I had my ABS unit sorted by Ivydene in Ashford. They came highly recommended, and they did a great job. Really know the BM's.

Must admit, for regular stuff I've been using the same tech for years. But on the stuff he can't do, or hasn't got the gizmos for, I'd certainly head to Ivydene again.

AJ Autogas on the Medway city estate, used him recently and seems a really good guy and BMW enthusiast. Great price for the work too.
