HELP: Turn on car & radiator Fan on full blast until I turn on heater/AC - then stops

As the title states, occasionally when I turn on the car the radiator fan will be on full blast, spinning loud as hell UNTIL i press the heater/AC button one click. Then the fan slows to regular speeds. I can only replicate this issue on some occasions when the car has sat overnight or for an extended period of time.

I have searched and found that this is usually the water pump... but I just recently changed the water pump/thermostat on the car within the last 1000 miles with new ones from FCP.

Any advice is appreciated.

FYI, in hopes of fixing issue, I changed the coolant sensor (10$) on the engine but no luck.

What's your battery like? If the battery can't give enough voltage, the car will lower the blower to a maximum of 50-75% output depending on how low the battery is (even if the car is running)

Battery is fairly new. Maybe six months old at max. Car isn't driven much though, at this point with all the mods/lack of reliability, its mostly a fun type car.

BTW the radiator fan blows max when I turn the car on... and will only go to a normal setting when i turn on the heater/AC.
If not the thing will just blow super hard kind of how they do when the water pump fail.
