Question about Akra full exhaust and hearing in person

I am considering getting rid of my Wagner downpipes and Middad midpipe and placing a full Akra downpipe to exhaust tip setup. I live in southern Florida and would gladly drive down to Miami or up to Orlando for a meetup to listen to the exhaust before spending some serious money. Please respond to me if any chance you can help me out with this. Thanks.

I don't live in Florida but I can try to get some clips sent to you this weekend if you'd like. I just recently completed the full Akra kit.

I would appreciate that. There are others who have posted clips online but it never sounds the same in person which is why I was hoping someone in this state would comment. That being said it would be helpful and thank you.

You won't find anything that sounds better than akrapovic..
I've installed on mine and don't regret for a second.

I have a small clip, recorded by an gopro on the interior.. I can send you.

I like it . I am figuring that is with the valve open and not closed.

I'm in Tampa, working on a relo to Jupiter in the coming month. How soon are you looking to pull the trigger? Setup = Akra DPs, OEM mids, Akra slip-on w/ valve. Personally I would keep the DPs, replace the mids, and do the Akra.

I must be in the minority, but I don't think the Akra axleback sounds good at all. Just sounds like a mufflerless exhaust...brash, loud, and unrefined. Not worth the cost, IMO.

The HMS offering, however, sounds amazing.

Do you have a video of this setup?
Thoughts on valve open when driving normally around?

EDIT: I just realised I asked you already in another thread

Funny, because HMS is an almost 1:1 replica of the Akrapovic, (if you take a detailed look) just made out of stainless steal.

I recently sourced the Akra Evo system, still waiting on the remote valve, but I can't find the downpipes anywhere.

Any tips from you all who recently sourced them? Thanks

Says they are in stock, they ain't cheap and NOT titanium as you probably know. I am happy w/ the fitment and prefer having the flex pipe just like the OEM horns.

I have the Akra slip-on axleback with remote. I really like it, took about 1thousand miles to break-in.... Great combo of looks and adding a little more volume that matches the stock note....Great for those that want just a little more, IMO. The CF tips

Adding a MadDad midpipe this weekend, if for some reason I don't like the combo I will go back to stock MP and be happy.

The Evo from videos sounds amazing. I wish I could hear a MP paired with axleback in comparison to the Evo? Anyone??

Please let me know you thought with the Akra axleback and the middad midpipe. Are you running catless downpipes and if so which ones? Thanks

No on the down-pipes.

EDIT: I love it during winter and at WOT. For daily driving in warmer weather windows down. I oftentimes keep the valves closed due to drone at ~ 2000-2700rpms. It isn’t bad, but it is loud and a bit too much drone for start and stop driving, so I open valves out on open roads. This combo is pretty loud and good sounding. I would be more happy with less drone and possibly less sound or a different sound for driving around town. I drive valves closed around town.

Hope that helps and makes sense.

Do you like it? We need some reviews from members that have the full Akra system. Axle-back + mid section.

I'm very happy with my stock DP, MadDad mids and Lightweight Ti rear section.

See my post on the hill climb.
