Another seat swap question

Sorry for another seat swap question everyone, but I am in the middle of swapping out my black sensatec interior for red leather, and I am stuck on the front seats. I have searched, but haven't found anything directly on point.

I have a 2013 135is, and the seats are from an older E82 - not sure the year or model. Everything was going great until I tried to connect the harness in my car to the plug in the red seat - they didn't fit. It looks like my black seats have some extra wiring for the seat belts that is not in the older red seats (see the red circle on the attached image).

I found a local upholstery shop that will swap the red seat covers onto my seats for about $300. It also means I would keep all the newer mechanical and electrical components from my current seats.

On the other hand, if I can save some money and just swap around some wiring and/or components...

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Swap the buckle over from your old seats.

smrtypants44 - thanks again for your help. You were right, it was ridiculously easy. I think I just got nervous about the fact that the electronic control boxes underneath the seats looked so different.

Anyway, I finally got some free time and got the seats and the rest of the interior fully installed, and the difference is incredible! It's like a whole new car with a red interior. I even almost like the aluminum accent pieces now - although I am still going to try replacing the dash and door handle pieces with some stitched alcantara pieces I got from Redline Goods. I also replaced the M-Sport steering wheel with an actual M steering wheel, which is also a huge improvement (visually). I just didn't care for the perforated look.

I'm still going to keep my eyes out for some F Series coupe seats though...

Does anyone know if the E88 rear seats work in an E82? Visually they seem identical.
