what diameter mm brake discs shiukd i get?

Hey!

I have a BMW 320d F30 2014 model. 18" Alloys.

I am trying to workout what brake disc sizes I need to buy for the front and back without having to remove the wheel and measure them.

Seems like I have a choice between 300mm, 312mm and 340mm when I search on euro car parts.

Does anyone know what size I need for my car? Would be a great help :-)

What wheels do you have? BMW OEM item wheels? Please share the style number.

The alloys are BMW standard yes. Not sure where I would find the style number? Is it on the alloy?

The pictures suggest your vehicle has BMW 18" 400M wheels.

These wheels will accommodate M Sport brakes.

Excellent read about 335 brakes (equally applicable to your vehicle since it has 400M wheels):

Thank you! I did some searching myself and just found using the website realoem.com, putting in my serial of the car and then searching the catalog.

The site is saying following:

Front discs = 340mm
Rear discs = 345mm

These are the M-Sport sizes as my car is m sport.

Sound right?

If the photos you posted are your car, then you have base brakes. 312/300 or whatever the smaller low power brakes are.

If you have blue brakes, you have 340/345mm rotors

Oh I see... no I don't have blue brakes and yes the pictures are my brakes.

I guess then I have 312/300 but which one... ha ha! Can't seem to find out for sure.

All you need are two pencils, a tape measure and a friend. One person sticks the pencils through the spokes, one resting on the top of the rotor, one on the bottom, holding them perpendicular. The other measures the distance between them.
