Looking for advice! Rim Specs

Hey guys! I'm looking into getting rims on my 1er. There is a set of advan racing rims available and the specs are :

Front
18x8 et45 - 225

Rear
18x9 et50 - 245

Would this fit my car? I am lowered in springs and my OEM 18inch fit fine right now.

Depends on the sidewall ratios of those tires. The wheels will fit fine and offsets will be really nice. Mine are 19x8et45 and 19x9et48 for reference and I use 265/30 rear tires out back.

You could certainly go for 225-40-18 and 255-35-18 tire setup, get yourself clearance with camber and a mild fender roll or trim and you'll be guaranteed never a peep.

Yes the rim specs are right. They should fit if they are 225/40/18 tires on the front. For the rear, a 245 tire with either 35 or 40 aspect ratio will work. 245/35/18 is the OE rear tire size.

People generally go with either

215/40/18 and 245/35/18 (OE for 135i)

or

225/40/18 and 255/35/18

These combos match the front and rear overall tire diameter the closest.

But you may run into some issues with being lowered and the 255 rear (but maybe not)

If you really want to dig deeper, this is my favorite wheel and tire size calculator:

https://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

Plug in your new and old wheel and tire dimensions and it will tell you how much more the tire will stick out. Then go examine your current setup and see if you have room

Those specs will work perfectly on the 1 Series. Tire sizes should be 225/40/18 for the front and 255/35/18 for the rear. This shouldn't cause any rubbing or require any modifications.
