This bike is made in Asia you better off with Trek or Cannondale.

Haven't tried it and really don’t need to. It doesn’t hold a candle to a Santa Cruz Blur XC . BMW should to stick to what they know best… engines and cars. This reminds me of those Jeep bicycles they give away with some of their trucks. Gimmicky, not good. For a real bike go here: http://santacruzbikes.com

I'm no bike expert, but I like the design of it.
The frame looks great, not like some human powered moto-cross bike.
Simple.
Nice. I want one.

We sell it at our parts dept. I have driven it and its smooth but I think you can get a better bike for that kind of money.

maybe a sway bar would solve that.

nice! but I wouldnt waste my money on that, like a member said similar treks or shimanos will serve you well. plus Those pokes are very dated, get one w/ 20 spokes bontrangers wheels, and w/ clipless pedals option..

Also, watch the gearing ratios, I like road gear ratio on hybrid or city bikes. they are faster. I converted a very old road bike into a hybird/off street. People wonder why its faster and smooth pedaling.

Time to get this thread alive.. just came back from my first drive (about 20km)...

Today i buyed the BMW Cruise Bike The colour is pearlwhite. Never liked that champagne-color.. so i had to wait until the pearlwhite was available.

I know that some of you said, that there are better bikes out for that money, but so far, it wasnt that expensive. I got the bike through a bmw dealer in Dachau (near munich) and he sold it for 560,- EUR (~ 760 US $) with all needed equipment (lights etc.). The normal list price is about 830,- EUR (~ 1.130 US $).

Here are some pics:

a Biemer?

Eh, it's a nice looking bike, but I can't justify spending that kinda cash on a bicycle. And if I could, I'd buy something that'll give you more for your money.
