Is there anything you don't like about the 1 coupe — 128i or 135i?
I'm not a big fan of the taillights. I thought they would grow on me, like some other BMW designs, but so far, nope. Otherwise, I think the 1 coupe is phenomenal! I applaud BMW ![]() ![]() ![]() How about others?

128i should be a 130i - shouldn't be stuck with the detuned 6-cyl. I think this will be rectified in the next couple of years and the 128i will be replaced by a 130i with 260bhp.
If price limits my choice to the entry level model, I may wait and see if my prediction comes true for the 2010 model year. Otherwise I'll be gunning for the 135i. Everything else is perfect.

in the photos the speed and tach compartment looks too oval in shape.
wish they went back to driver-centered radio/ac etc. wish the window buttons were back where they should be - near the gear shifter. all this means little till i see it IRL of course. |

the only thing I can say I don't like so far that I know about is the weight. not that I know the exact weight but I do know its not going to be the 3000# I was dreaming about.

I figured the same "Summer Tires", but you never know.
