You absolutly need the sport package. It completes the car. The bigger mags, the sport steering wheel.

I only wish they'd released the M-Sport kit/option when I bought my car... it's a bit more expensive to do the piece-by-piece upgrade path

BMW NA, in case you are listening, we appreciate ZSP, but we want more. Please bring us ZHP or M-sport.

I got the 330xi. In NYC the roads are horrible. I didn't want to deal with bent 18" wheels. They do like nice on the car though. Also the sport package does not lower the xi, so there is no performance gains by it. Thats why i opted not to get it.

I got the 330i and im not big on modding so I like to get my cars the way I want them look without having to change wheels and what not. The 162's and seats look so much nicer than non-sport that it was a no brainer for me.

Yes but you get the great seats, and steering wheel (at a much reduced cost). Also the standard sport package for the xi still comes with 17" rims, not 18". If you want 18" rims, that is a seperate "add-on" package.

My car is getting an oil change today. I have ZSP and the loaner 330i they gave me does not. The seats and steering wheel are so much better in my car. Plus this car feels a bit squirly if I push it through a turn.

True but the 17" wheels that come with the sport package don't compare with the 18" add ons. I like the non ZSP 17"s better than the sport 17"s

Yea I kind of agree with you on that, but the rims do grow on you alittle and they are easier to clean than the standard 17" rims.

The sport 17"s are thicker than the non sport 17". They make the car look more aggressive. I agree the 18"s are much nicer

the sport seats are well worth it. loving the thigh support and side bosters. factory spring rates and strut dampening is good too. the drop is perfect even w/ 19"

Not only do the sport seats have great large bolsters, but they are power adjustable. There was no way I could pass that up. In pictures the steering wheels looks very similar, but they are not in person. It seems all the dealers I went to never had a car with the sport package for me to look at. The day I was ordering I got him to bring one down and I then I knew it was well worth it, even on the xi.

The xi sport rims are alright, and they are growing on me. Pictures don't do them justice especially looking at them head on. Viewed from angles they look pretty good, and they are pretty unique.

As long as your happy that's what counts.

As for me the sports package was a must. The look, feel and fit of the seats and the stearing wheel alone are worth the price.

I may fly solo here but I think the SP package is unecessary. The SP package in my E46 blew.

Seats too narrow,too hard.
Suspension was to firm producing a ride that could get crunchy at times.

I much prefer the non SP seats in the E90 as I do the stock suspension along with it's 16" wheels.
