Official MONACO BLUE Coupe (E82) Thread

Hello fellow 1er fans.

Seems like there is an "official" color thread for many colors except Monaco Blue, so I decided to start one.

I love Monaco Blue. It's a classy and mysterious color that changes from dark blue to black depending on lighting conditions.

Here's a quick photoshop of a Monaco Blue 1er.

Here's a real-life pic of a Monaco Blue bimmer.

I was playing with the idea of getting Monaco blue, but I don't think it complements a car this size and shape...and it doesn't call out the mesh intake, which I think is one of the cool parts of the car.

i think i would order monaco blue, but i would rather have something a little lighter but darker than montego, closer to le mans or interlagos. we can choose between three blues and i the i want isn't there

edit: i thing the color in the photoshop is bang on what i want

It looks a bit like Carbon Black (which is my favourite colour ever).

But it's not as dark as it looks on those vids.

I'm so torn about this... I saw a 330 today, monaco blue... in canada with the snow and slush on the roads... it can look (somebodysaid it before) like a matte (non-metallic) black...
It would be perfect for me if it were A TAD lighter...

but still leaning towards it... or plain black (even worse inwinter though)
