Vorsteiner Vented Race Hood + CSL Boot Lid for the 135i: Design Sketches

You do not have to get the sealed vents with the open air filter. Your engine is designed for moisture exposure so it should not be a huge issue. We have run open intake designs on the E46 and E92 models with vented hoods and it's never been a problem.

Not until early next year unfortunately. Vorsteiner has a few lineups that need to be completed first (E9X M3, Porsche and some other exciting debuts).

man, the 1 is on the back burner -__-. I guess there is a down fall for having one of the fewest bimmers.

Is there going to be a version with the power bulge (like the stock m3 hood) with out the vents? I think the vents start to make it look ricey.

Or atleast go light on the vents.

They will most likely do a powerdome and a vented version if we can show them that there is enough demand out there

I dont think there's any pricing yet bc the theres only plans to make the hoods theres many different sketches of which one to make... or is there a price in mind already?

Pricing should be comparable to what we're selling the E92 bootlids for, so figure around 1200-1600ish.

Now that SEMA is over, we are going to finish up the E90 bootlids, and then we are going to start working more seriously with Vorsteiner to get the 1er lineup completed.

I found these on E-90post.com it loooks very similar to the VRS Design ^ But its the V-35 and the vents our placed more centered! Cant wait to see it for the 135i!

Yep... we had the pleasure of designing this in conjunction with the members of E90Post and the staff at Vorsteiner. It became a JleviSW.com exclusive project and we were happy to unveil it at Bimmerfest before it was opened to the rest of the Vorsteiner dealer network
