Dct and kick down lag
I have been driving with the dct tranny fo 2 months, and I am not that happy with how it works in auto mode.
I have Procede only and run the manual map 1, and there are tons of lag when using kick down at 45-55, it feels like driving a rubber band, the gearbox shifts from 6 or 7th gear shifts down 5th or 4th where nothing happens, then go down to 4th or 3d gear and give you a punch in the back, this takes app 1-2 sek . You have to use manual shift to keep control. I believe the dct needs some tunning to. Does anyone else have any experiance with this? |

You may want to check M3Post, as more of those members will have DCT.

I believe is is caused by the higher power the procede deliveres, and that the dct tranny is atuned to normal power output, the m3 dct doesn´t seems to have any lag problems when using kick down
