Buying an e90 and need advice

I am looking at e90s and I have found a couple that are great deals but have close to 50K miles. For the same price I can get a car with significantly less options and about 35K miles. Is it worth getting the lower mileage car? What kinds of problems can I expect after 50K miles? I put 8-10K miles on my car a year. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Whatever you do, go CPO. Considering you're going to hit the extended time before the miles, just find the one with the latest production date and the options that you want, that you can afford.

Hello... I have 60k and zero problems. I just had to replace the battery 2 weeks ago.

Sport package. I wouldn't get an e90 without it.

BMWs are pretty reliable, but I wouldn't buy a BMW out of warranty if it was an early model year. In other words, if the car is a 2006 or 2007, I personally would pass if it wasn't warrantied.

On the other hand, I'm about to sell my 2004 325ci. I bought it in 06 at 60,000 miles, and have put 40,000 on it without a single problem.

If I was getting a 328 or 325, I wouldn't be as worried as I would if it was a 335i out of warranty.

I am having a guy go to the auctions for me. It seems like in the 6speeds, I can either get a 325i with leatherette and manual seats with 32K miles or I can get a 330i with either 42K or 48K miles with sports, premium, cold weather and logic 7. It would be really nice to have all of those options and have the extra power. I just sold a 2005 325i that was a base model with 52K miles. I had no problems, but I was sick of the lack of options.

Well my suggestion would be to get a Certified Pre-owned. I just bought mine with 35K miles for $20500 from BMW dealer. I was trying to cheapen out by buying from mom & pop dealer which was $3000 less but 69k miles, with no warranty.
When I bought mine they had replaced all 4 tires, breaks and rotors, that alone is at least $2000 job. With CPO you have peace of mind.

Get the 330i and you won't be disappointed! Try for a CPO though if you can.

I would get the 330i even though it has slightly higher mileage. More standard equipment.

Get a CPO'd 330 or even a CPO 328.

Can I purchase the extended warranty and/or maintenance once I have the car? The car would still be under warranty. I don't want a 3rd party one if I get one. Also, which is the must have? The extended warranty or extended maintenance? Thanks.

Yes, you can purchase both. If you are going to choose, get the warranty.

I'd go with the 330 but try to look for something with a bit lower milage. over 40K = ~_~

Sports package is a must. Then premium and sound.
