Well considering the double negative makes your sentence say "That looks somewhere near 3.7 sec." I would have to agree with that.

Watched video holding iphone stopwatch and timed it out (not very accurate) but I got 3.7

Mount the iPhone or digital camera someplace, push the record button, WOT, stop the recording after you've slowed down, then snip/edit the video to the bits you want.

You're a good bloke...we'd hate something bad to happen to you that is avoidable with a smidgen of effort on your part.

Also, you wield a lot of influence on the go-fast online forums. If people see this from you, they'll think it's OK for them to do it too. Very few people are skilled drivers like you. Think about it.

It's not as bad as you think. I did have two hands on the wheel. Just one was also holding my iPhone. But I agree, it's better to be safe. Unfortunately, being safe and map testing isn't always easy. Especially in out weather where you get only brief periods of dry roads.

You can easily fab a mount for a digital camera in the cockpit.

My point is more that you set the example. It needs to be an extra-safe one.

The other day I saw a post on this forum where some guy did a WOT run up to 120mph on what appeared to be a surface street, not a highway. He went zipping past a lot of slower moving vehicles. Dead stupid. Vids like that should be banned from the forum.

It of course depends on where you start measuring from too. For example you might only have 3 inches but you might think it is 10.
