Side bolster cable disconnected.

While cleaning my girlfriends e90 after holloween (we carried a few friends in her car) someone had kicked a costume prop deep under the drivers seat. While pulling it out (it was really stuck in there), I also pulled out a cable. She has manual adjustment seats so the only other option I thought it would was the seatbelt warning chime or the side bolster control (she has sport package). Just as I thouhgt, you no longer could tighten or loosen the side bolsters. Good for me as it was on its widest setting, bad for her as she likes to be snug. The space between the seat and floor is too small and theres no way I can see where to connect it back.

I really don't want to take it to the dealer, but would rather do it myself. Im assuming I need to remove the drivers seat. Is this something I can easily do?

Like I said her car is manual adjustment, so there is nothing other than the side bolsters and seatbelt that i assume would cause an issue.

opinions, comments, advice all welcome.

let see some pixs...not sure what you mean by "kicked a costume prop". You could move the seat all the way to the front and see if that give you more room to work under the seat. Or move the seat all the way back and raise it way up to give you even more room. or take it to dealer it u don't want to deal with it. gl.
