Diffuser question
I'm looking at different rear diffusers. I HAVE searched on this but didn't find much....like always I prefaced this thread with this so I can at least minimize the flaming.....lol
I've been looking at pics and I'm a little confused on the fitment... And another thing...I can only find a couple that I like but I'm not positive these are easy installs...for example...will this one fit right on my car? I don't have the M rear bumper.. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=rear+diffuser And I REALLY love this one....for solo tips like the AW supremepower has...but damn, it's expensive....but I'm still considering getting this one...but again...will it fit? I guess I'm just confused on whether or not my bumper (not being the Mtech rear) will be a problem? http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=rear+diffuser Supremepower, I know I've asked you some of this but I just wanted to get a thread on this cause it's driving me crazy.... If there are ANY other rear diffusers out there that are easy installs...please list them here... And one more thing to any vendors who see this and have it in stock....the Mtech front bumper.....how much shipped to APO AE 09104 please and if it's possible...I think the box may be too big to ship here....I was going to wait till I get back to get it but I'm getting the mod bug bad again right now...

I'm looking for the same thing: a diffusor that can be installed without needing to install the Mtech rearbumper. I love the BMW Performance diffusor, but understand you need the MTech bumper, which makes it fairly costly.

Definitely need an Mtech/Msprt rear bumper to fit the e92 LCI performance diffuser.
As for the VRS one, I believe it just attaches right over your existing bumper....i.e., you don't need an Mtech rear bumper. Pretty pricey though.

For the factory rear bumper, I would do the Vorsteiner Rear Diffuser which is a direct install with double sided tape over the factory bumper. It's fully reversible and an easy install so it sounds like it's just what you are looking for.

Looks great! Or does it? It is the complete lower part of the bumper the part? Can't you see it's double-sided on?
Oh, and it's almost USD 1000..... I can almost get a Mtech fitted at my dealer for that..... [edit] awaiting a quote for shipping to NL from JLevi [edit] Got an offer (thanks Nick) but shipping to The Netherlands will make it pretty expensive, compared to local available parts (Mtech, BMW Performance)

That Vorsteiner one is exactly what I'm looking for.......so jlevi, pm me a price shipped to APO AE 09104 USPS priority..
I know it's expensive but holy sheeeiittt..that is by far the best one I think..... So it will for sure fit right on my non mtech bumper then no problems? Zneek, if you ever want to get something shipped over here to my address, let me know...I'm sure it's much cheaper than it would be for you...at least on big stuff...even though I live about 300 KM south of you...

I looked at different pictures of the Vorsteiner, but i don't like it. You can clearly see it's "taped" on top of the stock bumper. I'm looking to get the BMW Performance bumper/diffusor fitted. It replaces the stock bumper and looks a whole lot better i think
check this Dutch article about a 335i touring with performance parts: http://www.autogespot.com/nl/item/49...rformance.html

I don't. But i decided i didn't like after i asked for the quote. Looking at some pictures i decided i only want to have a diffuser that's integrated in the rearbumper, not taped on....

I understand that....but realize that it's very thin so it will look integrated...
And it looks 10000000000 times better than any of the others IMO....

He said he'd try to mail it out by Saturday....usually it takes about a week give or take a day if mailed USPS priority which I reminded him to make sure he does about 5 times, lol....that assures it goes on a plane....
yeah, anytime you wanna drive down, that'd be cool...I'm married with a kid so the chances of me driving up there are slim...we usually rent a car or drive the benz for trips...even though I do play softball tourneys up in Volkel...and I played in one in Hengelo recently.....
