That's an unacceptable thing to have happen, and they're mad to just leave it at that. I would demand to know who drove the car - and it's not like there is any doubt that it was "driven"...

Wow that is one chill couple! I imagine that they don't think it is worth their time to pursue it, but I'd be pissed as hell. At the very LEAST I would never take my car there again!

Thats why I absolutely refuse to valet my car..even for dinner. Ever...period...zip..not gonna happen... And i seriously pissed that the dealer drives it for service.

agreed. who would talk good about a company or business after this is done?... someone who got a good amount of money and signed something saying they wont slam them in the media/public. most people who are generously reimbursed would talk good also. if they werent they would be suing

They are safer with that company AFTER it was done to them then going to another.

They should get about $.55 per mile for compensation and some free parking.

Sure they are pissed but if the car has no damage (ink stain?) and the company takes car of it then its settled. Bad thngs happen and somtimes its a rogue employee.

You can spend your time worrying about things or just settle and go about your life.

For many of you the BMW are the focal point of your existance but for many its nice car.

After 700 miles, its still a nice car.

Settle and go on with it. Some of you would try to get some "mods" im sure!

Although I agree with you that the general public is stupid, I wouldn't consider this couple stupid. After all, they were smart enough to write down the mileage when dropping it off. I think most people wouldn't even do that. I am sure they got compensated appropriately by the company based on their comments.
