Bimmerfest or Import revolution at MIR???

Guys I am seriously conflicted. On the one hand we've got Bimmerfest which is going to be awesome but on the other, http://www.importrevo.com/ this is Import Revolution. Import only drag racing at MIR all day with lots car show stuff. It'll be a bunch of tubbed out 8 second Civics and Supras, GTIs, Boosted 3 series, etc. Ballin'! I absolutely love that sh*t.
It's also closer and I won't have to get up at 5:30 in the morning on Saturday.
I can't decide. Thoughts?

First ever bimmerfest east vs. Watching other people drag race?

It's a tough call. I'd stick with bimmerfest because of the road trip.

I'm not trying to be a dick. I've never been to a bimmerfest. I don't doubt it's great but can you describe the experience? What goes on at one?

It's the first eastcoast bimmerfest. I think anyone needs to go. Take a look at what you can do to your car. See it in person.

It's all RICE! LOL

Bimmerfest, my friend. MIR will always have those meets. Bimmerfest East is a wonderful experience, especially in Balto...so close...it's a no-brainer.

That's my question. WHY is bimmerfest so cool. I've never been but it just seems like a car show. Is there entertainment, sales, dynos, food, etc.? No offense meant. I love my BMW but I'm also a fan of drag racing and the technology required to make a 1.6l do 8s in the quarter.

Son, he can't get enough of it! LOL

But to answer the question to Boom's lament, there will be gearheads and many vendors with tons of product up close and personal to make your ride go ZOOM not BOOM with the proper engineering to enhance the UDM (ultimate driving machine).

Every gearhead would enjoy the gear at Bimmerfest, as well as the cameraderie and food and girls and .... it's the largest BMW meet this year with people from all over the country admiring, sharing, and loving all that is BMW.

Bimmerfest East, FWIW, is a treat because it is an East coast rarity. Most of the Bimmerfests have been in SoCal or points beyond the Mississippi River.

If that ain't enough, then go to MIR and watch the cars go fast in a straight line.

because your car is there and you are NO WHERE to be seen....unless you're swimming in the pool it has to be the cardio cinema....gym is not that big.

but it only seems to be the days they're showing "Fast 5"
