you can use the cleaner, but do not use the oil, injen dry filters dont have oil, so just clean them with the cleaner, rinse off, and let dry in the sun..thats it

i'm so confused. the website says to use oil:http://www.injen.com/docs/products/listing.asp?pcc=ol

so 50% of the ppl say NOT to use oil and the other 50% says you NEED to use oil.

what gives?

Injen makes 2 types of filters...dry and oiled. If yours is a dry filter, wash it and let it dry in the sun. Don't oil. If yours is an oiled filter, wash it, let dry, then re-oil it.

If your filter is blue, then its a dry flow. You can use the cleaner but do not oil it...

An old thread...I have the grey/white filters. Are these supposed to be oiled? The website doesn't specify.
