JB4 on top of a flash
I have access to a free autologic flash for my n54 335, is there any benefit to flashing the ecu if I already have the JB4, it would be nice to have a little more performance while in map 0 and if it makes the JB4 more beastly Im defiantly all for it

you need to check with BMS. this is a bit custom. Send them an email or call them.

There's a true benefit in the combo, flash + piggy (jb4 or procede)...get a solid safe AFR and timing flashed into the dme and then use a piggy to up boost when meth is flowing...if you don't have or are not planning to run meth there's no point in both, just use a flash

I always thought there was some mapping to the dummie signal from a piggy. But I guess they are just taking DME setpoints and mirrioring them? So theretically the std piggy would work with m1, is, flash, etc.

Yep yep yep, the only thing is piggies are made to up wgdc (up boost), not lower it so in terms of boost control its always your flash tune (base map) with the piggy adding boost on top..."at the moment" you can't run lower wgdc than what your car is flashed with which in my case doesn't matter at all

Can you elaborate on this a bit more? I have considered running JB4 on top of Dinan Stage 2 and from the reading I've done and emails exchanged never got the impression it was any different than running JB4 without Dinan. Would appreciate your opinion on this.

The only combo like this that has worked so far is the JB+ on top of the GAIC flash. Mr. 5 did this and got 2 extra lbs of boost. Search for his posts.....happened fairly recently.
I think you're asking for trouble running a piggy back with a flash. Run one or the other. If you don't like what you bought, try another.

As I said if you know what you're doing and are willing to datalog 99% of your high boost pulls when the combo is "active" then go for it...especially in the beginning...you don't want to run a JB4 map that'll stack too much boost or run too rich/lean on the car and then complain how you engine went or how cobb or jb4 sucks because you didn't know what you were doing...i'm not saying "you" specifically, just generally speaking...this is a major reason why people always advise against "stacking" tunes...
