Annoying misfire issues
Hi fellow Bavarians,
Could someone please guide me in the right direction regarding a misfire issue I'm having with my car... For a little while, the CEL would come on and randomly go away within a few days. It's related to a misfire code from cylinder 5 and 6 (one or the other, depending...) In the morning, it runs very bad for a few minutes (I can tell it's misfiring) but as soon as the engine's temp rises a little, all is fine and it runs smoothly. Unfortunately, my car is out of warranty and I'd like some hints to point me in the right direction, what to get checked, or any help... On a more positive note, if you're looking for brake kit and don't want to spent $1K, give the Turner Motorsport brake kit a try... Got mine installed this week and gets the job done! (Coming from a Cooper S with 4-pistons big brake kit!) Thanks!! DarkMCS
